STUffed Animals

Each piece begins as a thrifted or forgotten stuffed animal, carefully transformed through sculpture and hand-sewn detail. I sculpt new clay faces, layer them in epoxy resin for a glossy porcelain-like finish, and carefully paint each expression. Their outfits, ruffles, and accessories are sewn from recycled materials, turning the ordinary into something extraordinary. Like my dolls, each creature is completed with its own set of adoption papers, granting it a name, a story, and a life within the circus world it belongs to.
